March 22, 2011 — George A. Goodman, DC, FICC, president of Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs, has announced several personnel appointments at the school.
Rick DeCaro has been named senior thin provisioning engineer in the Information Systems Department. Korina Bogdanovic has been appointed interactive media manager and Edward Johnnie, DC, has joined Logan’s Montgomery Health Center as a clinician.
DeCaro will design, implement and support the Wide Area Network (WAN) at Logan as well as the new electronic health records system at its health clinics. He spent seven years in a variety of technical positions, including senior network engineer and data center manager, at Network Partners Inc. in Dallas. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
Prior to joining Logan, Bogdanovic spent several years with Fleishman-Hillard Public Relations in St. Louis as a blogger, social media strategist, sustainability organizer, application developer, and system developer. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Webster University.
A December 1999 Logan graduate, Johnnie brings 10 years of field experience to his new position as a clinician at Logan’s campus health center including service as an independent DC contractor and the owner and clinic administrator of the Back Pain Center in O’Fallon, Mo. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology from Logan University.
