Logan College of Chiropractic announces personnel appointments

Chiropractic Economics June 30, 2010

June 30, 2010 — George A. Goodman, DC, FICC, president of Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs, has announced several personnel appointments in administrator and staff positions at the school.  

Glenn A. Bub, DC, DCBCN, assistant professor in Logan’s Clinical Science Division, has been named chief of health center administrative services. Michael J. Wittmer, DC, assistant professor in Logan’s Chiropractic Science Division, has been appointed chief of clinical services. James Paine, MEd, has joined Logan as dean of student services, while Robert Powell, MS, ATC, CSCS, is the new director of sports and activities in Logan’s Student Services Department.

Bub served as chief of staff of the Logan Health Centers for more than 12 years.  In his new administrative position, Bub will focus on assessment services in Logan’s clinics. A member of the Logan faculty since 1987, he is a September 1979 Logan graduate.

Dr. Michael Wittmer, a Logan faculty member since 1984, will oversee Logan’s eight outpatient health centers in the St. Louis  He is a September 1980 Logan graduate. Both Bub and Wittmer report to Dr. Ralph Barrale, vice president of chiropractic affairs. metropolitan area.

Paine brings 12 years of higher education leadership and management experience to his position at Logan. Most recently, he served as senior associate director for housing and residence life at Saint Louis University.

Prior to joining Logan, Powell was athletic trainer at McKenzie Regional Hospital in McKenzie, Tenn. He is a certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) and by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association as a certified athletic trainer (ATC).
