Life West plans mission trip to Ghana

Chiropractic Economics January 5, 2010

Hayward, Calif., — In an order to broaden and strengthen Life Chiropractic College West’s efforts in Ghana, Dr. Gerard Clum, president of the college, met recently with representatives from a Ghanaian foundation, participating chiropractic interns, and faculty member Dr. Patricia Gonzalez, who is coordinating the college’s mission trips to that African nation. Mr. Godwin Kofi Ahlijah from Meaningful Life International and Mr. Chris Stockhaus, director of missions from Cornerstone Fellowship, will assist in securing additional venues for providing chiropractic care as well as additional resources in the form of water purification, anti-malarial netting and high-protein nutritional support.
The college’s next mission trip to Ghana is planned for summer 2010.
Dr. Clum stated, “We are taking every measure to create a safe and inviting environment where our students can help change the world one patient at a time by providing excellent chiropractic care to the people of Ghana.”
