Life University launches new tour: LIFE in Your City

Chiropractic Economics March 7, 2012

March 7, 2012 — Life University (LIFE) recently announced a nationwide, nine-city tour designed to help the chiropractic profession help itself. LIFE in Your City is a three-day event in each city, and provides elements that will help DCs earn continuing education, allow their patients to hear the chiropractic message from Life University president Dr. Guy Riekeman, and take part in attracting the next generation of chiropractors.

“We need more chiropractors, and we need better patient education,” said Riekeman. “LIFE in Your City is designed to accomplish both these elements, as well as providing an incentive to engaged chiropractors with continuing education.” The program will also serve as a tool to help chiropractors grow their practice.

LIFE in Your City will commence April 19-21 in Miami, Fla. The three days will include state-approved continuing education on Thursday, along with a special presentation for patients. Friday and Saturday will be about getting prospective students interested in the profession via dynamic speakers, hands-on activities and special presentations.

Other cities on the tour will include Philadelphia; San Diego; Orlando, Fla.; Milwaukee; Columbus, Ohio; Los Angeles; Tampa, Fla.; and Denver. The nine-city tour will occur over a two-year period, concluding in April 2014. Additional cities may be added.
