April 8, 2009 — Life University will host it’s first ever Conference on Integrative Healthcare Opportunities April 17-18, 2009 in Life University’s Sport Health Science Building. The program begins at 8 a.m.
This conference will begin new discussions, such as new low-tech or no-tech ways to explore, research, and promote health. Parts of the discussion will focus on the following integrative healthcare opportunities:
• Homeopathy
• Chiropractic
• Naturopathy
• Acupuncture
• Ayurveda
Life University has assembled a faculty from around the world. Among them include: Peter Fisher, homeopathic physician to HM Queen Elizabeth II and clinical director of the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital; Joseph Pizzorno, ND, member of President Clinton’s White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy in 2000, member of President Bush’s Medicare Coverage Advisory Committee in 2003; Ian Coulter, PhD, senior health policy analyst, RAND Corporation, professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, vice president, Integrative Medicine and Clinical Research, Samueli Institute; and Molly Roberts, MD, member of the board of trustees, co-director of Lighthearted Medicine Clinic.
