Roscoe Medical signs exclusive distribution agreement for STRENGTHTAPE

Chiropractic Economics Staff January 5, 2015

January 5, 2014 — Roscoe Medical, a manufacturer and distributor of innovative, in-home health products, and ENDEVR, the inventor of STRENGTHTAPE, have announced an exclusive distribution agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement, Roscoe Medical will be the exclusive distributor to North America for STRENGTHTAPE and will market the product to home healthcare providers, physical therapists, chiropractors, medical wholesalers, and
e-commerce companies who sell direct to consumers.

“STRENGTHTAPE complements and expands our product portfolio,” Paul Guth, Roscoe Medical’s president and CEO, said. “And it’s aligned with our vision and mission of providing products that keep end users active and mobile.”

STRENGTHTAPE kinesiology tape is a thin, stretchy, proprietary strip with an acrylic adhesive. It provides extra support and stability for muscles, joints, and tendons without limiting range of motion like a traditional brace or bandage. This product goes beyond the benefits of common athletic tape by infusing seven specific minerals called IonTech that emit ions to further enhance the tape. STRENGTHTAPE is also 30 percent stickier and stretches 10 percent more than other brands. Used for treating common athletic injuries, this tape is comfortable to wear and stays on in water.

“ENDEVR is thrilled to have Roscoe Medical as a strategic partner, and we are looking forward to working together to expand STRENGTHTAPE’s reach into the home healthcare and the rehab markets,” Steve Schone, ENDEVR’s CEO, said.
