Chiropractic Economics February 22, 2013

February 21, 2013 — The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress recently announced the appointment of Lance Cohen, DC, to its board of directors.

“The success of the F4CP is undoubtedly attributable to the knowledge and experience put forth by the organization’s board members,” says Kent S. Greenawalt, chairman, F4CP.  “I am pleased to welcome Dr. Cohen, and eager to witness all that he will bring to the F4CP.  As a younger member of the chiropractic community, his unique perspective and connectivity is sure to strengthen the campaign’s message, reach and progression.”

Cohen is a Cleveland Chiropractic College – Los Angeles graduate, specializing in sports injury and rehabilitation techniques. From 2008-2009, he served as the national legislative chair for the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA), as well as the North American regional representative for the World Congress of Chiropractic Students. Cohen completed an extensive three-month internship at the National Naval Medical Hospital, where he was later selected as the second chiropractor ever to complete a fellowship in integrative medicine. Today, he serves as a second-generation chiropractor, practicing with his father in La Jolla, Calif.

Cohen will join the following industry leaders as a member of the F4CP Board:

  • Kent S. Greenawalt, CEO, Foot Levelers
  • Gerard W. Clum, DC, president emeritus, Life West Chiropractic College
  • Don Petersen, publisher, Dynamic Chiropractic
  • Mike Flynn, DC, past president, World Federation of Chiropractors; past chairman, ACA Board
  • Tom Klapp, DC, member of Life University Board of Regents
  • Joe Doyle, publisher, Chiropractic Economics
  • Fabrizio Mancini, DC, president emeritus, Parker University
  • Mickey Burt, DC, executive director, Palmer Chiropractic College Alumni
  • Mark Sanna, DC, president, Breakthrough Coaching
  • Carol Ann Malizia, DC, president, GirlsGalsGurus
  • Marshall Dahneke, president, Hygenic Corp
  • Charles DuBois, president, Standard Process
  • Earl DeCarli, president & CEO, Scrip Companies
  • William Meeker, DC, president, Palmer College of Chiropractic West
  • Greg Harris, vice president for university advancement, Life University

Ready to begin his new journey with the F4CP, Cohen states: “I am privileged to have the opportunity to work alongside the esteemed members of the F4CP Board in their effort to enhance the public perception of chiropractic. I share the same passion towards advancing the profession, and I look forward to aiding in the success of the F4CP campaign!”
