It’s Happening: The National by FCA

Debra Brown Hagan September 16, 2020

After months of uncertainty, The National by Florida Chiropractic Association is coming to you in-person and virtually. Taking place this Nov. 5-8 in Orlando, FCA made the decision to postpone its annual August convention to provide the safest possible environment with proper social distancing and hygiene protocols.

For those attending in person, the premier event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. While it will look a little different, attendees will still have access to all the benefits they are accustomed to – 150 hours of CEs to choose from, internationally recognized speakers, various tracks and specialties and more. As an extra measure, FCA has put together a Safe Space 2020 Safe + Clean Plan that will couple with the Hyatt’s new Global Cleanliness Standards to ensure the wellbeing of all attendees.

For those not ready or able to attend in-person, the convention will host a virtual component, featuring many of the same in-person benefits.

  • Access to FL requirements, panel sessions & select topics for up to 20 hours of CE
  • Hours approved in 25 states including CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MT, NE, NJ, NM, NY, OR, RI, SC, UT, VT, VA & WA
  • Networking with vendors through the virtual expo

The National will also feature its renowned expo displaying more than 200 booths, socially distanced. Both in-person and virtual attendees can explore booths and new products, view flyers/information, watch videos and more. For virtual attendees who are interested in more information, an instant chat or scheduled appointment will be available.

“We are providing our attendees with what they have loudly voiced they wanted — a hybrid event,” said FCA Officer of Conventions & Program Development Jen Porro. “While some 70% of survey respondents want to attend live, those who aren’t ready for a face-to-face event can still attend. Orlando has started to host large events successfully. Florida has no flight restrictions on people coming in from any state, and we have never felt more confident in implementing our event safety guidelines as they are far and above what most groups are doing.”

For those looking for on-demand education, FCA has a new online learning platform, ChiroLearn.org. Providing 24/7 access to top presenters and engaging content for license renewal, chiropractors have access to 20+ hours of CE approved in 25 states – all on their own time. New content is added weekly.

Additionally, FCA will be hosting the SW Regional Convention in Naples, Oct. 8-11 and the Northeast Regional Convention in St. Augustine, Nov. 19-22.

The FCA remains committed to providing the very best learning opportunities to the chiropractic profession and adapting as needed. We invite you to visit TheNationalChiro.com for full details and to register, then join us and immerse yourself in everything chiropractic with one of the many tools available. This year is a very important year for the chiropractic profession to look at what we do best, learn how your practice can pivot and expand your ability to help more people get well.
