General Halstead Memorial Day media tour

Chiropractic Economics May 27, 2010

May 27, 2010 — Foundation for Chiropractic Progress’ spokesperson, Retired Brigadier General Becky Halstead, participated in two high-profile media interviews Memorial Day — a day that honors those who have risked their lives to protect American freedoms.

General Halstead, the first woman in U.S. history to command in combat at the strategic level, first met in New York City with Fox & Friends to discuss the importance of recognizing all veterans on Memorial Day.

To view Halstead’s interview with Fox & Friends, visit http://video.foxnews.com/v/4220591/five-ways-to-honor-our-troops.

A sufferer of fibromyalgia, Halstead commented on the mental and physical strain the men and women serving our country experience every day.

Following her interview on Fox & Friends, Halstead traveled to Washington, D.C., for a live interview on The Jim Bohannon Show. During the opening 10 p.m. (ET) hour, General Halstead discussed pain management and her personal experiences with chiropractic care during the interview.

Halstead spoke with Jim Bohannon, show host and one of America’s top radio personalities. Bohannon was voted one of “The 100 Most Important Radio Talk Show Hosts in America” by Talkers Magazine three years in a row. The Jim Bohannon Show can be heard from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. (ET) on more than 350 radio stations across the nation.
