GCC revises guidance on claims made for the Vertebral Subluxation Complex

Chiropractic Economics September 7, 2010

September 7, 2010 — The Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation is glad to report that the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) has taken a step in revising their previous guidance on claims made for the Vertebral Subluxation Complex.

They began reporting on this issue to its supporters following the release of the initial guidance in May 2010. The foundation’s president, Christopher Kent, DC, FCCI, JD, released a detailed analysis document on these claims in June 2010.

Since that time, many subluxation-based chiropractors and chiropractic organizations have contacted the foundation in support of this mission. Like-minded groups are encouraged to also contact the GCC regarding their statements against subluxation. Those efforts have led to the GCC rescinding their stance.

It’s urged you to support the mission of the Foundation for Verterbral Subluxation in protecting the future of the chiropractic profession.
