Connecticut, New York chiropractors have new Medicare audit

Chiropractic Economics October 25, 2010

October 25, 2010 — National Government Services (NGS), the Part B Medicare Administrative Contractor for New York and Connecticut, will be implementing a prepayment audit for CPT code 98941. 

NGS will be reviewing documentation to ensure that the level of service billed is supported by appropriate documentation of medical necessity.
