Forte Holdings secure agreement for DC PowerNotes EMR software

Chiropractic Economics September 27, 2011

Forte Holdings, Inc., one of the nation’s leading providers of award-winning, medical patient relationship and practice management software programs for the chiropractic field, has agreed to terms on a user agreement with DC-PowerNotes, a chiropractic electronic medical records (EMR) and notation software provider. Forte Holdings President Anthony Schwartz announced DC-PowerNotes has finalized a deal to supply Forte all user rights to its DC-PowerNotes EMR software, as well as its existing DC-PowerNotes client roster, extending the company’s reach in the expanding EMR and Electronic Health Records (EHR) industry and creating new relationships with DC’s roughly 2,000 chiropractic professionals.

“Our agreement with DC-PowerNotes is timely and valuable for all chiropractic professionals who are making the critical transition for paper to EMR systems,” Schwartz said. “In adding DC-PowerNotes to our EMR lineup we are able to significantly widen our customer base, extend our positioning in the EMR sector and assist larger numbers of chiropractic professionals in their efforts to move their front- and back-office billing and patient record management systems to a fully electronic platform.”

Schwartz said Forte will continue supporting all DC-PowerNotes clients on their current edition software, but also offer existing DC customers the option to upgrade to Forte’s suite of fully-certified EMR software programs.

“Our goal is to respond as quickly and efficiently as possible to the growing demand for EMR/EHR operating systems and this move allows us to add to our own suite of outstanding products and services one of the most well known and respected EMR software programs on the market,” Schwartz said. “We are here to continue providing excellent service to all DC-PowerNotes clients and offer them a range of options for upgrading their EMR systems.”

Forte Holdings, Inc. has served as a leading provider of healthcare software solutions in the United States for more than 25 years, including billing, electronic claims and EMR for a range of medical care providers and their frontend staff. The company has received outstanding customer reviews for its technical support team and services, garnering recognition from its clients for helping them to simplify the EMR implementation process and reduce operating costs through the elimination of inefficient and time-consuming practices, including dictated medical records information and paper billing.

DC-PowerNotes is a leading patient documentation software program manufactured by ClaKen Software, LLC in Huntsville, Alabama. Terry Griggs of DC said the agreement with Forte Holdings will allow for a seamless transition for existing DC-PowerNotes customers to a larger and fully complimentary library of EMR products and services.

“We foresee the combining of our products and services as a perfectly synergistic move and anticipate nothing but positive results for our existing clients,” Griggs said. “DC-PowerNotes is perfectly suitable for Forte’s business model and we anticipate this agreement will be a game-changer for the EMR sector.”
