Foot Levelers hosts 100th Practice Xcelerator event

Chiropractic Economics Staff October 21, 2019

Foot Levelers Excelerator event

Foot Levelers, the world’s leading custom orthotics company, hosted over 50 health care professionals at company headquarters in Roanoke, Va., to celebrate its 100th Practice Xcelerator event. Doctors and staff members from around the country attended the event to discuss practical and clinical protocols with doctors of chiropractic Tim Maggs, Brian Jensen, Kurt Juergens and Amanda Bledsoe.

A two-day event, the Roanoke Practice Xcelerator was a ‘super-charged’ version of the same event Foot Levelers hosts throughout the year. The goal of each event is to help doctors implement protocols that ensure the proper assessment and treatment of the feet in overall body wellness.

In Roanoke, Amanda Bledsoe, DC, of Conway, Ark., spent time with the attendees discussing the power of an aggressive marketing plan. Using social media, the power of testimonials, and ‘trying everything at least once’ were examined at length.

Brian Jensen, DC, followed with a conversation about proprioception, biomechanics of the lower extremities, and the relationship between the three arches of the foot with neuromuscular responses.

On the second day, attendees heard from Tim Maggs, DC, who presented his Structural Management Program, which has developed from 40 years of clinical experiences to predict, prevent, diagnose and treat injuries. Maggs has been presenting the Practice Xcelerator since its inception in 2016, and helps attendees understand they are uniquely qualified to be the go-to biomechanical expert in their community.

Kurt Juergens, DC, closed out the event with a discussion about patients having a positive engagement with custom orthotics in order for them to understand the relationship between the feet and the rest of the body. He also demonstrated several simple ‘tests’ to show patients how overpronation impacts biomechanics.

Foot Levelers holds Practice Xcelerator events throughout the country year-round. For more information, or to register for an upcoming event, visit FootLevelers.com/PX.
