October 27, 2014 — The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the value of chiropractic care, has called attention to the 2014 COCSA Convention on Nov. 6-8 in New Orleans.
The event will feature several opportunities for networking, as well as special presentations from the former U.S. Surgeon General Regina Benjamin, MD, Fabrizio Mancini, DC, and national association speakers Pat McGaughey and Beth Zienesis.
“We are excited about this year’s program, which offers attendees an opportunity to learn from and connect with outstanding leaders from both in and outside of the chiropractic profession,” Amy Hardin, executive director of COCSA, said. “Additionally, it provides a chance for attendees to engage with over 42 premier industry vendors, including the not-for-profit F4CP. We expect this year’s meeting will be one of our most successful yet.”
Each year, the COCSA Convention unites over 45 state and national chiropractic associations to collaborate and share best practices and tools for success in areas including IPAs, HIPAA, Medicare, current professional issues such as school physicals, scope of practice, and legislative strategies. Throughout the three-day event, specific topics are covered and mastermind sessions are held to bring attention and resolution to national chiropractic challenges and the future of the profession.
“As an influential chiropractic group, it is critical that we participate in the important discussions held at the COCSA Convention,” Kent S. Greenawalt, chairman of F4CP, said. “Fortunately, COCSA recognizes the significance of our input and, each year, provides the F4CP with complimentary exhibit space and time on its agenda. We appreciate this generosity and look forward to contributing to the success of this COCSA event.”
