F4CP secures media trifecta, propels chiropractic into key markets

Chiropractic Economics October 24, 2018

October 24, 2018—The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing public education about the value of chiropractic care, receives heightened media coverage for the profession with recent editorial placements in Forbes, Becker’s Spine Review and BOSS Magazine.

“For over 15 years, the Foundation has been knocking on doors in the media with little to no avail, and now, not only are we being answered, but journalists are reaching out to us for information about safe, effective and drug-free chiropractic care,” shares Sherry McAllister, DC, executive vice president, F4CP. “Coupled with persistence, the ability to showcase the ever-changing landscape of chiropractic now being offered in integrated settings, and the added-value that drug-free chiropractic provides as a first-line approach to manage pain during the heart of the nation’s opioid epidemic, each contribute to the well-deserved success had by the profession.”

Recent feature articles include the following:

  • The Darkside of Remote Work for Nonprofits – With the increase in telecommuting, this article details proper ergonomics for remote employees, alongside the care and maintenance, including chiropractic, that can help increase wellness and productivity among nonprofit remote workers. (Forbes is designed for C-level executives, top management, high-end investors and those aspiring to positions of corporate leadership as a source of insight into the people, companies and technologies driving business and creating wealth today and in the future. Unique Visitors Per Month: 71.1M)
  • 4 New Studies Highlight Advances in Collaborative Care Model for Spinal Disorders Showcasing four new studies which highlight the U.S. healthcare system progressing toward a patient-centered, comprehensive and collaborative care model, chiropractic shines throughout as a drug-free approach to managing spinal disorders and general health concerns. (Becker’s Spine Review features content on the business and legal issues which relate to orthopedic and spine practices for decision makers in the industry. Print Circulation: 8K)
  • Making Adjustments for the Opioid Crisis Communicating the value of safe, effective and drug-free care, this feature spread underscores chiropractic as a first-line approach to manage pain and general health concerns prior to the utilization of prescription opioids. (BOSS Magazine, a digital, subscription-based magazine under Magzter’s distribution which consists of 362,000+ monthly subscribers, including industry senior-level and C-suite executives. Unique Visitors Per Month: 1.94M)

“It is always gratifying to witness the day-to-day progress made by the profession, but the realistic impact that comes along with coverage at this level spans far wider than many realize,” says Kent S. Greenawalt, CEO, Foot Levelers and Chairman, F4CP. “The chiropractic message is making its way to the desks and screens of key decision makers and executives in the healthcare industry, ultimately allowing the potential for necessary modifications in healthcare delivery to occur for the betterment of patient care.”
