The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) shared an update on its 2024 campaign, “Made Possible By,” which aims to reach 100 million patients through several commercials highlighting the role of chiropractic care in golf, rodeo and pickleball.
The ads were designed to air during the championships of each sport; different versions of the spots target consumers and future DCs.
“Chiropractic care plays a significant role in supporting athletes across sports in mitigating injuries and training their bodies for optimal performance,” said Kent Greenawalt, chairman of F4CP, which has already won several awards for its marketing and thought leadership this year. “Our campaign so far this year has been greatly successful, raising awareness of the value of chiropractic care and educating both professional and amateur athletes alike on its benefits … we’re looking forward to using the rest of this campaign as a springboard for further campaigns and marketing materials that will support the chiropractic profession.”
Golfers need chiropractic care
One ad called “The Perfect Swing,” which depicted how swinging a golf club puts a unique strain on golfers’ bodies and how chiropractic care in golf can mitigate injury and perfect technique, ran 17 times on The Golf Channel throughout the Masters Tournament this spring, reaching an estimated 5 million-plus viewers, and was viewed over 130,000 times on YouTube. Additionally, through April 8-14, Google searches for “chiropractor” and “chiropractic” increased by 257% and 120% respectively, and F4CP saw a 1680% spike in website visits.
…and so do rodeo competitors
In July, F4CP staff attended the Calgary Stampede, the world’s largest rodeo, which attracts more than one million visitors, to shoot commercials to air during the National Finals Rodeo in December. The ads showcase the impact of rodeo on human and animal competitors’ bodies and the importance of seeking chiropractic care in advance of and following competitions. Blaine Bugg, DC, President of the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sport Medicine team, was featured as an F4CP spokesperson.
Pickleball injuries and chiropractic care
Finally, during the Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships in November, F4CP will air a commercial focusing on how chiropractic care can prevent common pickleball injuries, such as foot fractures, sprained ankles, and trauma to the anterior cruciate ligament, Achilles tendon and rotator cuff.
