November 6, 2013 — ChiroTouch, a leader in chiropractic software, and Evan Gwilliam, DC, are pleased to announce the “Chiropractic and ICD-10: How to Make the Transition” two-part webinar, which is scheduled to air Nov. 12, 2013, and Nov. 14, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. PST.
“The ICD-10 implementation deadline may be a year away, but it’s not too soon to begin to prepare, especially since it will change all of the diagnosis codes currently in use,” said Robert Moberg, president of ChiroTouch. “We’re thrilled that Dr. Gwilliam is taking the time to educate the attendees on the impact the changes to the coding system will have on their practices and to give them the information they need to help ensure a smooth transition.”
In this two-part series you will learn the basics of ICD-10, the reason for the transition, and how to find the right codes. You will also see examples of common codes for DCs and learn how the documentation will need to look. Finally, you will be given a plan to help you ease into the Oct. 1, 2014, deadline with as little interruption to your practice as possible.
Gwilliam is the director of education and consulting at the ChiroCode Institute and a certified ICD-10 trainer by the American Academy of Professional Coders. He lectures to DCs all over the country.
