ACA to co-sponsor ‘Life Octagon’ meeting

Chiropractic Economics March 23, 2012

March 23, 2012 — The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) is pleased to announce that it will co-sponsor Life University’s Octagon forum April 12-14 in Marietta, Ga.

Life Octagon — a think tank for the chiropractic profession — was established to create a world-changing dialogue on healthcare and the human endeavor. Composed of thinkers, writers, politicians, entrepreneurs, and educators, the 2012 Octagon forum will offer opportunities for some of the brightest minds in the profession to discuss implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). ACA Senior Vice President of Government Relations, John Falardeau, will be a featured speaker at the event.Octagon_Banner_3_21_12_b

One of the most important Octagon 2012 goals is to bring about better understanding of PPACA. DCs and other leaders in the profession will discuss how the emerging healthcare system can be positively influenced by PPACA, and look to change the current system into one that promotes healthier behaviors, goals, and responsibilities before health problems arise.
