Chiropractic Economics magazine, the leading publication in the chiropractic industry, has begun its 28th annual Salary and Expense Survey.
This comprehensive survey invites all practicing doctors of chiropractic to contribute business data that will help create an accurate snapshot of the chiropractic profession and marketplace.
The Salary and Expense Survey gathers detailed information on DCs’ salaries, total compensation, billings, collections, treatment modalities offered and other key business metrics. While solo practitioners in private practice usually make up the largest percentage of participants, the survey also gathers information from those in other types of practice, such as multidisciplinary groups, or those who operate as independent contractors, franchise owners or employees, or associate DCs in another person’s practice.
Snapshot of the industry in 2025
This brief survey will only take a few minutes to complete. By participating, DCs will contribute to a broader understanding of the profession’s growth and development. Data collected for 2025 will be analyzed and showcased in Issue 9 of the magazine (available in early June). Part of that analysis is a year-over-year comparison of Salary and Expense Survey data to better understand how DCs’ roles, business models and economic realities have evolved.
“This survey is an essential tool for understanding the changing landscape of the chiropractic profession,” said Gloria Hall, editor-in-chief of Chiropractic Economics. “We encourage all practicing DCs to participate in building this comprehensive data source.”
Practicing DCs may complete the survey by visiting chiroeco.com/2025-salary-survey.
The survey closes on March 24, 2025.
