January 14, 2013 — Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association’s campaign to raise awareness regarding cardiovascular disease in women. Feb. 1, 2013 is National Wear Red Day.

Thousands of individuals are raising awareness about heart disease by wearing red on this day. Carlson Laboratories is proud to be supporting this event by providing red aprons to health food store owners and their staff to wear.

Carilyn Anderson, president of Carlson Laboratories, states, “We are proud to support the ‘Go Red for Women’ campaign by helping to spread awareness about cardiovascular disease and the importance of taking preventative measures for our health. At Carlson, educating our customers has always been of the utmost importance to us. ”

Carlson will provide a free red apron for health food store owners to wear Feb. 1, 2013. Contact a Carlson customer service representative to request your free apron. Wear your red Carlson apron on February 1st, and support “Go Red for Women”!
