BIOTONE founder and president receives American Massage Conference award

Chiropractic Economics May 6, 2012

May 6, 2012 — BIOTONE founder and president, Jean Shea, was awarded the ONE Concept Innovation Award by the American Massage Conference (AMC) for her achievements in advancing the market for professional massage therapy products through innovation. She received the award at the AMC Event held in San Diego, April 20-22.

The AMC is North America’s newest exhibition of massage products, continuing education and new business opportunities for therapists of all disciplines. Its ONE Concept Innovation Award recognizes and promotes the accomplishments of individuals and organizations that advance the market for massage, chiropractic, or acupuncture products or services.

In honoring Shea, the AMC acknowledged Shea’s efforts to advance the market for massage therapy through the development of innovative massage therapy lubricants specifically designed to meet the unique needs of professional massage therapists.

“I’m honored to receive this award for product innovation,” said Shea. “I have a passion to develop products that support massage therapists in the way they want to work and the range of therapies they offer. Whether it’s the ingredients or the performance of the product, breaking new ground in innovation is a constant goal of BIOTONE.”
