February 8, 2013 — According to an article on CapitalGazette.com, ACA member Alan K. Sokoloff, DC, was in New Orleans last weekend treating the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens.
Sokoloff, who has been the team’s DC for 12 years, recently explained the benefits of chiropractic services for NFL players by stating that, “a team chiropractor in the NFL can do so much more involving performance enhancement. A receiver, for example, wants to be able to run as efficiently as possible,” Sokoloff said. “But one leg might not be able to extend as far as the other. If we can open up that joint, we can get a lot more movement. His stride is going to be that much better.”
