“It’s always a thrill for us to share the names of our Bucks for Boards scholarship recipients,” said Dr. Wayne Wolfson, president of NCMIC. “We are immensely proud of the Bucks for Boards program and look forward to its success in 2021, as well as the success of our winners.”
NCMIC, in conjunction with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, launched the Bucks for Boards program in 2020. A total of 200 scholarships, in the amount of $500 each, will be awarded to 50 students each quarter in 2021.
The names of the winners will be randomly drawn from those who enter each entry period. Students may sign up once per entry period and are eligible to win one NCMIC Bucks for Boards scholarship annually. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone.
These scholarships are just one of many ways NCMIC reaches out to students. The NCMIC Starting Into Practice® Program has held on-campus presentations for over 20 years to help prepare students for the transition from school into practice. A new website was recently launched to give students access to in-depth information about business, marketing, practice structures, finances and more. Starting Into Practice also has a supporting Facebook group where students can share ideas, ask questions and get advice from experts.
