June 9, 2011 — The Pediatric Councils of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) and the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) announced they will team up for an upcoming Joint Pediatrics Conference later this year.
The conference will be held at the Turtle Bay Resort, Dec. 9-11, 2011 on the North Shore of the Island of Oahu in Hawaii.
This landmark event will be the first time specialty councils from both organizations have collaborated to host a unified conference for the chiropractic profession. It will be a historic occasion and one that bodes well for the future of chiropractic pediatric continuing education.
Elise Hewitt, DC, CST, DICCP, president of the ACA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics, was enthusiastic about what this partnership means for the future of chiropractic pediatrics.
“We are very pleased and excited about the opportunity to partner with our colleagues at the ICA Pediatrics Council to put on a first-class conference dedicated to advancing the DC’s knowledge and skills in chiropractic pediatrics,” said Hewitt.
