F4CP accepts second contribution in 12 months from NBCE

Chiropractic Economics Staff December 19, 2014

F4CPDecember 19, 2014 — The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the value of chiropractic care, has announced that the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE), the principal testing agency for the chiropractic profession, has donated $10,000—its second gift in the last 12 months. This recurring support fuels the development of important campaign initiatives, particularly Recommend One, which encourages student enrollment at chiropractic colleges nationwide.

“NBCE is happy to contribute to an organization that shares our passion for advancing the chiropractic profession,” Donna L. Craft, DC, president of NBCE, said. “Through support of the F4CP Recommend One campaign, we hope to expand, strengthen, and better secure the future of our doctors of chiropractic.”

Established in 1963, the NBCE is a not-for-profit organization that develops, administers, and scores standardized exams that assess knowledge, higher-level cognitive abilities, and problem solving in various basic science and clinical science subjects. These exams maintain coherent standards of excellence in the chiropractic profession and chiropractic education, while providing quality assurance to the general public. Today, all 50 states and the District of Columbia accept or require NBCE exams.

“It is gratifying that many of the top organizations within the profession, including the NBCE, have stepped up to support our campaign,” Kent S. Greenawalt, chairman of F4CP, said. “We are eager to continue working alongside our partners as we strive toward reaching greater levels of success for the entire chiropractic community.”

The F4CP aims to inform and educate the general public about the many benefits associated with chiropractic care. To learn more about the Foundation, visit F4CP.com or call 866-901-F4CP (3427).
