Colorado Springs, Colo. – Anabolic Laboratories is pleased to celebrate 85 years of partnership with the chiropractic industry. Founded in 1924, Anabolic Laboratories formulates and manufactures clinical nutrition products. Over 85 years ago, Dr. Wigelsworth and his brother began hand encapsulating dried vegetables at their farm in northern Illinois in order to increase patient compliance for dietary intake. The business grew substantially and during World War II, Anabolic Laboratories became an essential industry to the war effort making our first contract pharmaceutical product (opium lozenges) for the United States government. We are still actively involved in contract nutritional and pharmaceutical manufacturing to this day.
