New multi-function manual therapy implement

Chiropractic Economics Staff July 17, 2014

07.17.14_Golden_Sunshine_MFTJuly 17, 2014 — Golden Sunshine International Inc. has recognized the need for an ergonomically designed manual therapy tool that is versatile enough to replace several others while assisting therapeutic technique.

“The therapist’s hands, wrists, forearms, attending muscles and connective tissue must be maintained in top condition if the therapist is to treat others to the best of their ability,” Richard Floyd, vice president for the company, said. “The design of this product is engineered to exacting specifications to provide maximum assistance to the therapist’s technique. It is ideal for massage, acupressure, reflexology and guasha, to name a few, and replaces a number of other tools in the therapist’s repertoire.”

Golden Sunshine is always looking for ways to employ modern technology to enhance traditional modalities and the Multi-Function Manual Therapy Implement is no exception.

“The tool is produced of a high-impact composite that will withstand high temperature and can be sterilized with mild soap and hot water or alcohol,” Floyd said.

The company provides a free instructional video on its website, where other companies charge as much as $40.

“Our goal is to provide the best tools at a reasonable price to the licensed health care practitioners who make up our customer base,” Floyd said.
