Revolutionizing the search for chiropractic continuing education

Chiropractic Economics Staff May 23, 2013

May 23, 2013 — CE Cruncher has spent the last year striving to become the most advanced search engine for chiropractors to find chiropractic continuing education seminars held all over the U.S. and Canada.

Tens of thousands of chiropractors have viewed the site in the last year with more than 500 chiropractic continuing education seminars listed by almost a 100 chiropractic CE providers.

CECruncher.com’s founder, Amy Tirpak, DC, said “The concept of CE Cruncher started after I became frustrated trying to find a few credits one year to meet my state requirements for my chiropractic license. After hours of searching through publications, piles of direct mail, and scouring the web, I found a vast array of seminars that I never knew existed.”CE-Cruncher-DC-Final-Logo

Tirpak imagined that other chiropractors must have been having the same difficulties and she knew that she could come up with the answer. As a co-owner of an advertising/Web development firm she utilized her knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), Web development, chiropractic and her love of surfing the Web to develop CECruncher.com.

“I wanted to create a one stop shop for finding Chiropractic Continuing Education,” Tirpak said.

CE Cruncher offers chiropractors the ability to search for a seminar by location, date, state accreditation, provider, and course title generating results in seconds. The days of scouring through mail, magazines, and numerous websites are obsolete.

The site also offers direct links to the hosting hotels and online registration. This allows chiropractors to find a seminar, book a hotel, and register in less than five minutes, saving you time and money. CE Cruncher also enables providers to streamline their registration online, eliminating the need to mail in checks, faxes, and registrations over the phone.

CE Cruncher also offers chiropractic news, listings for diplomates, associations, and chiropractic colleges. Knowing that chiropractic life is not always serious, there’s a frequently updated section of chiropractic humor in win/fail.

The main purpose of CE Cruncher is to provide a free resource for chiropractors to find seminars and give chiropractic continuing ed providers a free place to promote their seminars.

“I have had a few chiropractors question how all of this is free,” Tirpak said. “CE Cruncher generates revenue the same way other websites do, through premium listings and advertising.”
