The Joint opens 6th location

Chiropractic Economics Staff January 9, 2013

January 9, 2013 — The Joint Corp., a leading franchisor of chiropractic clinics. announced the opening of its sixth clinic in Pooler, Ga. This fast growing concept is slated to have an additional openings in Kennesaw, Johns Creek, East Cobb, and Midtown within the next five months.

The Joint is led by John Leonesio, founder and former CEO of Massage Envy. Leonesio is revolutionizing the chiropractic care industry just as he did the massage therapy industry a decade ago.

“Making the benefits of quality chiropractic care both extremely affordable and convenient to the millions of Americans who need it can’t happen fast enough,” Leonesio said. “All our efforts will therefore be focused on growing The Joint into a national franchise operation, staffing each clinic with leading chiropractors and delivering a superior chiropractic care experience to all our members.”

Leonesio’s plan is simple: apply the same core strategies that made Massage Envy immensely successful directly to The Joint.

All the new clinics that have opened are owned and operated by Massage Envy franchisees. “We knew the magic that John had worked with Massage Envy and the membership model, “states Don McMahon, franchisee of the Dacula clinic. “John is the master at simplifying the service delivery process and creating value for the consumer.”

And it is working. The Joint currently has 340 clinics open or in development in 25 states.

The regional developer for the Atlanta area is Patrick Greco, DC. Atlanta and its surrounding counties are slated for the development of 30 clinics.
