The International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations looking for a few good leaders

July 5, 2012 — The International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations (IFCO) is looking for a few good leaders. Five student leaders to be exact.

IFCO wants to give five students $1,000 each for their passion, commitment, hard-work, and/or impact on the world in which they live. It doesn’t really matter whether you started a philosophy club on campus or travelled to Washington D.C. to speak out against the CCE or started a facebook page, what matters is that even as you are trying to get through school and pass boards and all that that requires, you are going above and beyond to make a difference for chiropractic.

If you know someone who is doing just that or if you think that someone might be you, the IFCO would like to hear from you.

The IFCO Leadership Scholarship is available to any currently matriculated chiropractic student who has advanced and/or promoted the philosophy, science, or art of chiropractic in a significant way.

Scholarship candidates may be nominated by any student (including self), an employee of a chiropractic college, or any licensed chiropractor. The person nominating must state why the student is deserving of the scholarship in a 1,000 words or less. Up to five students will be chosen based on merit alone to receive a $1,000 scholarship. The IFCO wants to acknowledge, reward, and encourage students who are taking the initiative beyond the classroom to make a difference in chiropractic. The objective of the scholarship is to reward students who are willing to take a leadership role this early in their chiropractic careers.
