National University of Health Sciences students tour Standard Process

Chiropractic Economics Staff March 4, 2012

standardprocess_webMarch 4, 2012 — On February 22, National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) students and professor Angie Skokos, DC, visited Standard Process Inc. in Palmyra, Wis., as a part of their student clinic hours.

Standard Process has partnered with NUHS in an effort to show how the company creates its supplements from seed to supplement.

Standard Process manufactures whole food nutritional supplements and grows a variety of crops on its organically certified farmland for use in its products.

During their visit, the 47 trimester eight and nine students toured the Standard Process Farm and manufacturing plant, observing how Standard Process strictly adheres to the Food and Drug Administration’s good manufacturing practices to ensure that its supplements are of the utmost quality.

Following their tour, the students listened to a variety of company speakers including, Standard Process President Charles C. Dubois, Director of Professional Development John Nab, D.C., and Director of Research and Development David Barnes, Ph.D.
