TCC welcomes new provost

Chiropractic Economics April 19, 2010

April 19, 2010 — Texas Chiropractic College (TCC) welcomed J. Clay McDonald, JD, MBA, DC, as the school’s new senior vice president and provost.

“I am excited to welcome Dr. McDonald to the TCC family as our new provost,” said TCC President Dr. Richard G. Brassard. “His extensive experiences in the realm of chiropractic education are a boon to our program. In the past, he has made presentations to our Board of Regents, as well as addressed our graduates at commencement; from student to board member, we are all looking forward to working with Clay.”

At TCC, McDonald will be responsible for the day to day operations of the college under the policy and direction of the president, as well as providing leadership in all areas including academic, business, and administrative.

“I’m really excited about being here,” said McDonald. “TCC is already taken great strides in planning for the future with new construction over the past 10 years, on-going facility improvements, and most importantly, enhancing the curriculum and the learning process for our students. This is a great place for me to be and I look forward to being a part of the college’s future.”

McDonald has taught extensively in chiropractic post-graduate programs, and spoken at a variety of educational and research conferences. Additionally, he has published several papers on rehabilitation, quality assurance, and chiropractic education.
