Life West awards scholarships to exceptional students

Chiropractic Economics March 23, 2009

March 23, 2009 — Life Chiropractic College West has announced the recipients of six scholarships for the winter quarter, 2009.

Commitment to Excellence Scholarships were awarded to Allison French, Clinic 4 from Sacramento, Calif.; Dustin Freund, Clinic 2 from Abbotsford, British Columbia; Jane Baxley, Clinic 4 from Danville, Calif.; Brian Morris, Clinic 1 from Redding, Calif.; and Torey Griswold, Clinic 2 from Cle Elum, Wash.

The Meghan McKenna Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Susan Wang, Sophomore 3 from San Jose, Calif., who exemplified an exceptional level of diligence and commitment. The scholarship is a one time memorial award of $1200 in memory of chiropractic student Megan McKenna, who lost her battle with cancer in 2007 at the age of 28.
