7th annual SACA Leadership Conference announced

Chiropractic Economics March 15, 2010

March 15, 2010 — The Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA) announced the 7th annual SACA Leadership Conference will be held April 30 to May 2 at the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic (UBCC), in Bridgeport, Conn.

SACA chapters from all over the country will send four to six current and aspiring leaders to take part in this weekend event as they discuss leadership roles in the profession, on their campus, and in their personal lives.

This year’s keynote speaker will be the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) spokesperson, Ret. Brig. Gen. Becky Halstead. On Saturday, May 1, Gen. Halstead will lead the students through a three-hour leadership training presentation and Q&A session.

Other guest speakers will include ACA President Rick McMichael, DC; UBCC professor and longtime ACA member Stephen M. Perle, DC, MS; and other prominent ACA members.

For more information, contact Therese Finan, SACA national chair, at sacachair@aol.com.
