October 25, 2012 — In conjunction with its fall convention, the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association (Unified VCA) named David B. Dolberg, DC, of Springfield, Va., its Chiropractor of the Year.
Chiropractor of the Year nominations are submitted to a committee comprised of the previous three recipients of this top Unified VCA award. For this year, that committee consisted of Jay Greenstein, DC, Christopher Bruno, DC, and Brad Robinson, DC.
Dolberg owns and runs Family Chiropractic of Springfield, and has been in practice for more than 30 years. When asked why he decided to become a chiropractor, he said, “I learned long ago that health does not come from a bottle of pills; health is about choosing a positive lifestyle and making good choices about food, exercise, and how you take care of your body. Having the opportunity to help a wide variety of people understand this concept is truly rewarding.”
Dolberg is a 1978 graduate of Arizona State University who earned his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1981 from New York Chiropractic College, where he received special recognition for service and leadership.
As Treasurer of the Unified VCA, he keeps an eye out on the bottom line and seeks out new opportunities to create income and save on expenses. He enabled the expansion of the Public Relation Committee’s Celebrate Wellness! initiative by organizing and running two successful silent auctions. He takes every opportunity to help members and encourage non-members — both doctors and suppliers — to join.
