The Joint Corp. announces new clinic in the Houston area

Chiropractic Economics Staff January 29, 2013

January 29, 2013 — The Joint Corp., a franchisor of chiropractic clinics, is proud to announce the opening of their newest clinic in the Houston region with the opening of the League City clinic. The clinic is owned and operated by Mr. Shawn Bishop and Mr. Mark To.

The Joint now has 12 clinics serving the Houston community.

The Joint is operated by Massage Envy’s Founder and former CEO John Leonesio. “Shawn and Mark are a very successful team and understand franchising and have enjoyed a tremendous level of success. They have a great deal of knowledge of the membership model and will be a dynamic asset to the growth in the Houston market,” states Leonesio.

Regional Developers Anne and David Glover are not surprised by the growth. “We knew the magic that John had worked with Massage Envy and the membership model. John is the master at simplifying the service delivery process and creating value for the consumer,” states Glover.

“In addition with lower start-up costs and minimal staffing needs, the profit potential is quite impressive,” adds Anne Glover.

The Glovers are also regional developers in the Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin markets.

“We were very excited about The Joint because it makes chiropractic care convenient and affordable. With great hours and an affordable pricing model we know this concept will be an instant success. We also liked that fact the John Leonesio was behind the concept. After working with John at Massage Envy and experiencing how he streamlines concepts to be successful we knew had to be a part of this,” states To.
