The Joint announces regional developer

Chiropractic Economics June 20, 2012

June 20, 2012 — The Joint Corp., a leading franchisor of chiropractic clinics, announced the awarding of the North Carolina region to Paul Trindel for the development of 30 clinics.

An area developer and multi-unit franchisee for Cold Stone Creamery for 12 years, Trindel has extensive experience in brand building and franchising. He was named Area Developer of the Year in 2007. With a broad background in franchising, Trindel knew instantly the Joint business model was destined for success.

The Joint is poised for explosive growth and will revolutionize the way and manner in which people seek chiropractic care,” said Trindel. “With a proven track record, it’s also nice to be playing for a championship team.”

The first clinic is slated for opening this summer in the Friendly Shopping Center in Greensboro, N.C., with a second location in Raleigh, N.C., in The Market at Colonnade at Six Forks and Strickland Roads.

“We are in outstanding locations in both cities so it will be very convenient for our clients to locate us and continue their wellness care at The Joint. Our membership model makes it easy and affordable for our clients and more importantly, our doctors and the quality of their care is second to none,” added Trindel.

Changes in the healthcare industry relative to insurance have adversely affected the chiropractic community for some time now and it has provided an impetus for people like Trindel who are equipped with an entrepreneurial spirit to deliver an unbeatable service like The Joint.

“Diet and exercise has always been an integral part of my family’s wellness routine and not that long ago, we all learned that continual and proper chiropractic care was an important component in everyone’s overall wellness routine,” added Trindel, a 12-year veteran as a reserve for the Greensboro Police Department.

John Leonesio, CEO of The Joint and founder and former CEO of Massage Envy is a staunch advocate of chiropractic care.

“Making the benefits of quality chiropractic care both extremely affordable and convenient to the millions of Americans who need it can’t happen fast enough. Our standardized clinic model is ideal for brand awareness and rapid growth through franchising. We believe it will set a new benchmark in the industry for clients and for Chiropractors who will both benefit from its ability to deliver the highest standard of care simply and inexpensively. The North Carolina region is fortunate to have Paul Trindel leading the way as he has demonstrated a winning attitude and clearly has been very successful in everything he has done in the region. We are so pleased to have him join The Joint family.”
