October 24, 2012 — The Joint Corp., a leading franchisor of chiropractic clinics, is proud to announce the grand opening of its first clinic in the Mira Mesa area of San Diego. The clinic is owned and operated by franchisees and sisters Stephanie and Beth McRae.
In addition to owning and operating four Massage Envy clinics in the San Diego area, Stephanie McRae serves as in-house counsel for Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen). Beth McRae is president of The McRae Agency, a full-service public relations, social media, and marketing firm. Beth has a long community service record and has been recognized for her efforts including the 2011 Trendsetter award for her lifetime of civic and charitable work.
The Joint is being led by John Leonesio, founder and former CEO of Massage Envy. When Stephanie learned of The Joint concept, she was impressed with the power behind the model and the leadership involved and decided that she wanted to be a part of it. Beth saw the tremendous success Stephanie had with Massage Envy and was on board immediately. “The Joint is the ultimate demonstration of chiropractic care — affordable and convenient so everyone can benefit from it,” said Stephanie McRae.
The McRaes are proud to announce their clinic physician, David Marshall, DC. Marshall received his doctor of chiropractic degree at Southern California University of Health Sciences, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of the National Chiropractic Honor Society, Dean’s List and Delta Sigma.
Leonesio said, “Stephanie and Beth are great additions to The Joint’s rapidly growing California franchise network of clinics.”
