The Joint announces clinic opening in Connecticut

Chiropractic Economics April 19, 2013

April 19, 2013 — The Joint Corp., a leading franchisor of chiropractic clinics recently announced the opening of their newest location in Connecticut with the opening of their Fairfield clinic. The clinic is owned by Mr. Larry Coco and will be managed by his son Michael.

Coco has an esteemed career in sales, management, and marketing, is an accomplished public speaker and president of Coco Training. Looking for new business interests when presented with The Joint concept, he knew it was the one.

After tragically losing his daughter Danielle, he feels this concept allows him to keep her legacy alive. “I believe the vision of what The Joint represents is a strong one — opening doors to health and wellness in a more affordable way,” says Coco. “It provides a needed service to the community, exactly what my Danielle would be doing today.”

Coco is announced his clinic doctor as Stephen Rutkowski, DC. Rutkowski received his BS in Biology from Fairfield University and his Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. He is past assistant professor of clinical services at University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic and has sat on the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

“I want to be part of the revolutionary trend in health and wellness. I believe The Joint will be at the forefront of delivering a new model of chiropractic care. This will make it more affordable for patients, who up until now have found it to be inaccessible due to the rising cost of healthcare,” states Rutkowski.

“Mr. Coco has an esteemed career and knows The Joint model is the wave of the future in chiropractic care,” says CEO of The Joint, John Leonesio. “In addition to the wealth of business knowledge His foresight for building a legacy for his family truly shows his passion.”
