November 24, 2010 — The College of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University will award 102 students with a doctor of chiropractic degree in a ceremony on Nov. 19. The graduation ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
The commencement address will be presented by David Feinwachs, JD, PhD, assistant professor at the University of Minnesota and former general counsel of Minnesota Hospital Association and Aging Services of Minnesota.
Trevor L. Lyons, a member of the graduating class, will give the student greeting. The presidential greeting will be delivered by Mark Zeigler, DC, president of Northwestern.
Renee DeVries, DC, DACBR, dean of the College of Chiropractic at Northwestern will recognize Tracy M. Burmeister, MA, DC, diagnostic imaging resident; and Jody M. Skaufel, BS, DC, chiropractic geriatrics resident; for completing their residency program.
Class valedictorian is Annie Lee Mickelson.
