Texas Chiropractic College to host gala

Chiropractic Economics February 16, 2013

February 16, 2013 — Texas Chiropractic College (TCC) will be hosting its 2013 Gala, “Hard Hats & Black Ties” in the Russell Auditorium on its Pasadena campus March 23 from 6-11 p.m.

Mr. Larry C. Johnson is serving as the honorary chair of the event and Dr. Monte Blue will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. The event will feature live music from Radio London, casino tables from Monte Carlo Plus, a silent auction, raffles, and great food and drinks.

This year’s gala marks the launch of a $1.5 million capital campaign, to renovate the Russell Education Building, one of the oldest buildings on campus. The renovation will transform the building into one the hubs of campus life and will include classroom space, conference, and research areas, and the creation of a campus fitness center.

Standard Process has given a gracious leadership gift of $400,000 to launch this exciting endeavor.

“We are always happy to welcome the community to our campus, but we’re especially excited about the opportunity to publically launch this new campaign in the building that it will benefit,” said Richard G. Brassard, DC, TCC President. “The gala is a tremendous opportunity for our friends and leaders in the community and healthcare to gather for a night of support and celebration. I want to again thank Standard Process for their unswerving support of both this college and the chiropractic profession.”

Table sponsorship opportunities, which include 10 tickets and other goodies, begin at $2,000, while individual tickets begin at $200 each. All proceeds from the evening’s event will benefit the capital campaign.
