Terry Yochum, DC, issues book for charity

Chiropractic Economics Staff November 28, 2016

November 28, 2016—I Should Have Been Left-Handed is an autobiography by the author of Essentials of Skeletal Radiology, Terry Yochum, DC. In it, he recounts the tremendous challenges he faced in publishing what would become the landmark textbook on radiology for chiropractors.

In overcoming a historical prejudice against medical texts by DCs, Yochum paved the way for the many authors who followed him.Layout 1

Against this backdrop, Yochum weaves stories of his life and his passion for baseball. This book is for anyone with a love of sports and those planning to enter the healthcare profession. “The reader will perhaps be inspired that just an average boy with a burning desire can accomplish something far beyond his wildest dreams,” Yochum says.

Every book sold is autographed by the author, and all profits from sales will be donated to the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, and the Whitey Herzog Youth Foundation.

Copies can be ordered through TerryRYochumDC.com, for $24.99.
