TCC, LSCS sign articulation agreement

Chiropractic Economics February 23, 2010

February 23, 2010 — Texas Chiropractic College (TCC) and Lone Star College System (LSCS) entered into an articulation agreement, which was signed Feb. 10, 2010.

In an effort to allow students to complete the prerequisite hours for admission to TCC, the agreement between the two colleges aims to create a seamless transition for LSCS students and graduates seeking a Bachelor of Science degree while at the same time pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. The agreement takes immediate effect and currently enrolled LSCS students are eligible.

“At TCC we have long been aware of the excellent educational reputation of the Lone Star College System in the Greater Houston area,” noted Dr. Richard G. Brassard, Texas Chiropractic College President. “We are excited to form this partnership with them, and I look forward to welcoming more of their students to our campus.”

Rand Key, Lone Star College System’s Sr. Vice Chancellor and Chief Operations Officer, said the partnership with the Texas Chiropractic College  provides another option for students to transfer and obtain either their four-year degree or to transfer directly into the doctoral degree program.

To learn more about becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic at TCC, please visit www.txchiro.edu/gotcc or contact the Office of Admission at 800-468-6839 or 281-998-6007 or via e-mail at admissions@txchiro.edu.
