Charlie DuBois, president and CEO of Standard Process®, a whole-food-based nutritional supplement company, issued a challenge to the company’s 39 sales representatives to join the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) at the Gold Membership Level, and he would match an equal amount with a single $46,800 donation.
To date, 34 of 39 Standard Process sales representatives have signed up for a Gold Membership to F4CP, which is $1,200 each per year. If all 39 representatives join the organization at that level, DuBois will pledge the equivalent, which would come to $46,800. That donation from DuBois would be in addition to Standard Process’ annual sponsorship donation.
“The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress aligns with our mission of improving health and changing lives,” said DuBois, who has been on F4CP’s board since it was established in 2003. “It’s why I encourage our reps to get involved and urge other leaders in holistic nutrition to make the same challenge at their organizations.”
Standard Process was also one of the key sponsors of a network TV commercial project created and managed by F4CP that aired 25 times on NBC Networks during the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo. The intent of the commercial, titled “I Know Pain,” is to inspire athletes and others to consider a career as a doctor of chiropractic (DC), as well as to motivate consumers to seek chiropractic care for themselves, their family and friends. It is available to watch online at www.f4cp.org/Olympics.
“As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on new memberships and gifts to help fulfill our mission of sharing accurate information about chiropractic care with consumers, healthcare providers, public officials and other stakeholders, as well as to educate our members,” said Sherry McAllister, DC, president of F4CP. “Our long-time supporters Charlie DuBois and Standard Process have generously helped us this year in both regards. Good nutrition and chiropractic care go hand-in-hand in supporting optimal health, so it is gratifying to see a leader in whole-food-based supplements publicly recognize that connection and encourage their employees to support our mission.”
