Standard Process names new manager of discovery science

January 18, 2011 — Standard Process Inc. announces it has promoted Brandon Metzger, PhD, to manager of discovery science.

Metzger will now be responsible for managing Standard Process’ discovery science lab where he will continue the company’s efforts to provide evidence-based research related to the effectiveness of Standard Process’ whole-food supplements.

Metzger has been with Standard Process for 10 years as a research scientist. His skills as a researcher have resulted in several successful studies and published articles. Most recently, Metzger’s research evaluating the antioxidant compounds present in buckwheat throughout the growing season was published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Herbs, Spices & Medicinal Plants.
