Standard Process Inc. hires new employee, promotes 2

Chiropractic Economics Staff March 11, 2013

standard-process-logo21March 11, 2013 — Standard Process Inc. announces the addition of Jennifer Ecker to its staff at its corporate headquarters in Palmyra, Wis., and promotes Quality Auditor Supervisor Rachel Kitzan to quality assurance supervisor, a move that also gives additional responsibilities to Clarence Weisflog, quality control chemistry supervisor.

Ecker joins Standard Process as an application support specialist. As an application support specialist, Ecker will play a pivotal role in ensuring that applications and processes used by Standard Process are properly validated to comply with any applicable rule from a governing agency, such as the Food and Drug Administration. Previously employed as a programmer analyst, Ecker graduated from Mount Mary College in Wauwatosa, Wis., in 1996.

Kitzan was promoted to quality assurance supervisor in Standard Process’ quality control department. In her new role, Kitzan is tasked with improving development and test processes so that defects do not arise when a product is being developed. She will also oversee the company’s team of quality auditors. Kitzan, a University of Wisconsin-La Crosse graduate, joined Standard Process in 2006 as a chemist. She became quality auditor supervisor in 2009 as the company expanded its audit team.

In addition to his responsibilities as quality control chemistry supervisor Weisflog has assumed the supervising responsibilities of the company’s quality control prep lab from Kitzan. Weisflog graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2007 and began his career at Standard Process as a chemist in 2008. He was promoted to quality control supervisor in 2011.
