May 12, 2011 — Standard Process Inc. has announced the recent hiring of Michael Kemp, PhD, and Kristi Prokop, and the recent promotion of Trisha Zarling.
Kemp joins Standard Process as a research scientist. He earned his doctorate degree from the University of Arizona in 2005 and completed his postdoctoral fellowship through Michigan State University. Kemp is the recipient of the 2007 Gordon Research Conference Young Investigator Award and a 2008 NRSA Research Training Grant. As a member of Standard Process’ research team, Kemp will help provide evidence-based research related to the effectiveness of specific whole-food supplements.
Prokop was hired as a human resources representative. She is a 2009 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater graduate with a bachelor’s degree in human resource management. Prokop was previously employed as a human resource assistant with a professional services firm. She will assist Standard Process with its pension and profit plan administration, educational assistance program, and recruitment initiatives.
Zarling was recently promoted to graphic designer in the marketing department. She has been with Standard Process for six years, previously serving as a graphic design assistant. Zarling received her associate’s degree from Waukesha County Technical College in December 2010.
In her new role, Zarling will be responsible for conception and execution of visual communications in a variety of media for Standard Process brands and partners.
