SpineUniverse.com named finalist for ‘Best Healthcare Online Media Brand’

SpineUniverse.com was recently named one of five finalists for “Best Healthcare Online Media Brand” by Medical, Marketing & Media (MM&M), a publication for healthcare marketers. The 2008 finalists, including WebMD and HealthDay, were selected out of 830 applicants by a panel of the industry’s top talents.

The award for “Best Healthcare Online Media Brand” recognizes a Web site that offers independent editorial content for either patients or professionals. Judges selected finalists based on outstanding service to both readers and advertisers with the most impressive gains in readership, revenues, market share, and editorial quality throughout 2007-2008.

“Over the past 16 months, we’ve aspired to identify new ways to increase the quality of patient care through the Web,” said Bill Paquin, CEO of SpineUniverse, LLC. “It’s an honor to be recognized by MM&M for our efforts, especially alongside such respected companies.”

The winners of the 2008 MM&M Awards will be announced at a black tie gala on October 30, 2008 at New York City’s Tavern on the Green.
