July 14, 2011 — Sherman College honored three doctors of chiropractic during its annual Lyceum, a homecoming and continuing education event attended by chiropractors from the U.S., Europe, and New Zealand.
Erik Beauvais, DC, was recently named Career Advisor of the Year by Sherman College of Chiropractic in appreciation of his contributions, time, and commitment to growing the chiropractic profession. Beauvais is a 2009 graduate of Sherman and is an inaugural member of the college’s Reach Out and Recruit (ROAR) Program.
In addition to talking with future chiropractors about a career in chiropractic, Beauvais opened his office to the prospective students attending a Sherman open house event and spoke about setting up a practice.
Sherman also honored alumnus and long-time supporter Leroy G. Moore, DC, by inducting him into its Gallery of Honor. The Gallery of Honor recognizes individuals who have demonstrated significant and long-standing support for Sherman and have contributed to the advancement of chiropractic. Each inductee is honored by the inclusion of their framed photograph and biography in the gallery, which is displayed in the Scallon Building on campus.
