May 13, 2008 — Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU) professor Paul Hooper, DC, MPH, MS, has authored the book Physical Modalities, a therapeutic modality text written specifically for the chiropractic student.
In addition to discussing common therapeutic modalities, Physical Modalities focuses on procedures common in the practice of chiropractic. Hooper presents theoretical as well as practical information including case studies for each modality.
He has contributed to numerous textbook chapters on chiropractic and is the author of the books WorkAbility Management: Managing Injured Workers to Minimize Disability, and Can Back Pain Be Prevented? From Back School to Cognitive Therapy.
SCU will hold a reception Thursday, May 15 at noon at the Learning Resource Center (LRC) to celebrate the release of Hooper’s book.
